Generous Motorcycle Enthusiasts Ride for Jeneece Place
It was a gorgeous day for the 5th Annual Ride for Jeneece. Lots of enthusiastic riders came out and were generous in their giving to Jeneece Place.
The scenic ride started at the Quinsam Hotel in Campbell River and continued along highway 28, through the mountains to Gold River. A celebration and fundraising auction was waiting for the riders at Ridge Roadhouse in Gold River.
Riders from all over came to share stories, enjoy the scenery, and have a great time on the open road, all in support of Jeneece Place!
Our sincerest thanks goes out to the many individual and business sponsors who donated over 40 items for the silent auction and the venues for hosting the event. Thank you to the Rotarians & families who came out on the day to ride, help, and show their support.
The event was successful in raising around $3,000! These funds will go towards directly helping Vancouver Island and surrounding island families who must travel to Victoria for their child’s medical care.
Thank you again to everyone involved! Without you, Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island and Jeneece Place would not be able to help island children with disabilities and health challenges reach their full potential.
