You did it! Thank you for your generosity

Thanks to your overwhelming generosity, we doubled our fundraising goal, and raised $19,755 to support our Innovation in Mental Health fund. Your donations will go a long way in supporting critical mental health programs for Island kids and youth, at a time when these services are needed now more than ever.

Double your impact on #GivingTuesdayNow! Help us raise $10,000 for mental health on May 5

#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity taking place on May 5, 2020, as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

Help us raise funds to support critical mental health programs for Island kids and youth! Children’s Health Foundation board vice-chair, Bryan Thomson, has generously stepped forward to contribute a matching gift of $5,000 to kick-off the #GivingTuesdayNow campaign.

Your gift will connect Island youth with the services and programs they need throughout their mental health journey. By reaching youth as early as possible, you can help us address issues before they negatively impact their relationships, school, and work. With only 20 percent of youth able to access mental health services, your support is needed now more than ever.

For every dollar that we raise on #GivingTuesdayNow, Bryan will match the gift dollar for dollar, to a maximum of $5,000! Whether you give $25 or $500, your investment will have double the impact… but only for a limited time.

Will you help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 by making a gift on Tuesday, May 5?

Meet Bryan Thomson, Vice-Chair, Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island

Bryan Thomson has been a generous donor and volunteer board member with CHFVI since 2015. As a long-time advocate for child and youth mental health programs, Bryan was inspired to extend his five-year pledge to the Foundation and create a matching gift for #GivingTuesdayNow to support the heightened need created by COVID-19.

Through his matching gift, Bryan hopes to encourage more people to give back and make a difference in the lives of Island kids and youth.

Make a gift today and have it matched on May 5!
