The shotgun start begins at 5:30 p.m.\, followed by a delicious Prime Rib buffet dinner catered by The Keg Victoria. \nThe best part: proceeds from the event will support Jeneece Place\, our Home Away from Home in Victoria for Island families travelling for their child’s health care. \nWhen a child requires critical medical care away from home\, the emotional and financial strain on a family can be overwhelming. Jeneece Place provides a welcoming place to stay just steps from the hospital. \nEvery registration helps Island families when they need it the most.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Royal Victoria Marathon weekend this October in downtown Victoria! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out\, there’s a race for everyone. Choose a distance that suits your level: the full marathon\, half marathon\, 8K\, 5K\, or Kids Run.  \nEvents will be capped for 2026. When the block number is reached\, prices will increase. In 2025\, the marathon and half marathon both sold out in July.  \nSaturday\, October 10: Kids Run and 5K — start and finish at Willows Park in Oak Bay.  \nSunday\, October 11: Marathon\, Half Marathon\, and 8K — start and finish in downtown Victoria.  \nGrab your friends\, lace up your runners\, and join us as we run for Island kids.
